Adam Hurlbert

Adam Hurlbert is the founder and owner of HJ Property Care & Tree Services. He earned a B.S. in Business Management from Dickinson State University in 2012 and soon after built a successful landscape company in Dickinson, North Dakota — completing hundreds of residential and commercial projects, from irrigation installs and retaining walls to complete landscape development for new construction.

In 2018, Adam became the superintendent of an 18-hole golf course, where he managed the entire grounds and crew and oversaw the landscape design and installation for a new clubhouse and patio — outdoor seating, water features, irrigation, and tree and plant selection that complemented the natural surroundings and existing course.

After relocating to Montana, Adam spent four years running a large multi-division landscape, maintenance, and snow-removal company, managing up to 30 employees across multiple crews and large-scope projects as general and operations manager. He founded HJ Property Care to better serve his community and family — building a company centered on relationships, communication, and craftsmanship rather than transactions.

Adam moved to the Bitterroot Valley from North Dakota in 2021 with his wife, Ashley, a Montana native, and they're raising their three children here. Outside of work he's the head coach for North Bitterroot Little League and enjoys golfing, fishing, and everything Western Montana has to offer.
